The Apple range has seen a slight shuffle last month. There are new models of the MacBook which boast improved Skylake processors, increasing the clock speed up to 1.3GHz on the higher end model. Alongside this the battery life has been improved to up to 10 hours of wireless web browsing and up to 11 hours of iTunes movie playback and other notable updates are newer, faster 1866 MHz memory and new Intel HD Graphics 515 chip which grant up to 25 percent faster graphics performance.
The MacBook continues to have a 12-inch Retina display, a butterfly mechanism keyboard, Force Touch trackpad and is now also available in a Rose Gold colour option.
The new 9.7″ iPad Pro brings over the processing power that made the original stand out and packages into a smaller device. Unique to this version of the iPad Pro is an improved 12MP rear camera and a new 5MP front facing camera, this enable higher resolution 4K video capture and improved slow motion recording. Another new feature is the True Tone display which has a wider colour gamut and, by taking in ambient light, adapts the display to give you a perfect colour and intensity regardless of whichever lighting situation you find yourself in.
The iPad Pro has unique access to Apple accessories, there’s a Keyboard cover that utilises the Smart Connector along the side of the iPad and the Apple Pencil works with the same precision and accuracy that was found on the larger 12.9″ model.
